Project Duration

36 months: September 2016 - August 2019

In several European countries, learning difficulties or disabilities such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia have only recently been the subject of detailed studies. This is because, unlike other forms of ‘disability’, they only impact certain aspects of a person’s life.

These kinds of difficulties/disabilities, especially when not recognized and identified, can represent real obstacles for a successful school career.

Tide will collect data, good practice and methodologies in the field of inclusive education in the European countries involved in the project and will develop new and more adequate tools that teachers, educators and trainers can use with students with special educational needs. These tools will be shared at all levels of the educational system from secondary schools, vocational training institutions and universities. This will facilitate the transition of students with special educational needs from one level of education to the next level.
